Ancient Path

Where am I running? After the setting sun OR into the darkness to embrace the rising sun?

This process is messy, uncomfortable and at times even frightening…However, it is a beautiful process that takes place for our good and His glory.

Imagine that your hands are open to receive all that He has for you. Can you believe that His purpose is greater than your present plans? This is tough because we all have expectations, hopes, and dreams for our future; and when God comes in and changes our direction, how do we respond? Often, we become frustrated, discouraged, resentful, or even angry.

Reflect back to the above question...Am I trying to catch the setting sun or move through the darkness and embrace the rising sun?

Back in June 2020, the Lord gave me this scripture from Jeremiah 6:16 "Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; and you shall find rest for your souls."

What is your "ancient path," and "where does your soul find rest?"

Are you willing to let go of all unmet expectations, dreams of what you envisioned life would to be like? Are you simply willing to exchange your life for HIS?

Today, if you are feeling sad, grieving losses or just exhausted by your external circumstances and/or internal battle......

please know you are NOT alone in this journey!

Will you face the darkness and embrace your rising sun! Let go of what has already been set, hold fast to what is ahead!
